It’s way easier to win when you’re riding a good horse that suits your style of roping. So if there’s one corner you don’t want to cut it’s your horsepower. Trust me, this is an area of my roping that I think about and try to improve upon every single day. You have to if you want to be successful. If you don’t have enough experience to go horse shopping for yourself, find someone you trust and respect to help you. Pay them a little something if you have to. But don’t try to get by on a dink. It’s too great an obstacle to overcome, and the frustration factor isn’t worth it. A good horse just makes roping better so much easier and so much more fun.

Thanks,
Ryan,... | read
