Equine de-worming over the past 20 years has been revolutionized by the development of various brands of ivermectin and moxidectin de-worming pastes that target all manner of large and small strongyls, tapeworms, bots and other parasites.

The flipside of this success is the emerging threat of parasite resistance—which has the potential to diminish the effectiveness of this important tool for the horse owner.
