Members of Canada’s “Old Saddle Bags” trail-riding group had “an incredible time” at Wisconsin’s Palmquist Farm
At Palmquist Farm, an 800-acre equestrian destination located in northern Wisconsin’s Northwoods, you can ride past green fields, trickling brooks, wild forest, and buffalo. The farm offers access to rural gravel roads, as well as miles of trails in the Chequamegon National Forest. After your ride, you can enjoy a homemade dinner, cottage-like cabins, and a sauna. Your horse can relax in an outdoor corral or a 10-by-10-foot indoor box stall.

Laura Melo of Thunder Bay, Canada, trailered to Palmquist Farm with her group of four ladies called the Old Saddle Bags. “We had an incredible time,” she said. “The food was incredible. The Palmquist family made me feel at home. The facility was really awesome. Four days wasn’t long enough.”
