KMSHA Registers 20,000
image fpo
Classic Farms Classics Shogun, a Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse stallion.
Last fall, STF Lydia, a chocolate-colored Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse filly owned by Debbie and John Goheen, became the 20,000th horse to be registered with the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association. The Goheens own 14 Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horses at their Spirit Trail Farm in Cynthiana, Ky. Their lucky registration submission won them a lifetime KMSHA membership, plus a flat screen color television — the better to watch videos of their horses in gait! Debbie Goheen confides that she’d been waiting for a horse just like Lydia, saying the mare has the color and personality she’d hoped for in her personal riding horse. For more information on the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse, call (502) 863-3545, or visit www.kmsha.com.
