Ever been chased out of a laundromat when the proprietor noticed your load
included horse blankets?
Now, horse people in Southern Pines, North Carolina will no longer be shunned
from the local laundry.
David Harbour, of Harbour Laundry Systems has opened an “equine laundry,”
cleverly titled “Backdoor Equine Laundry.”
Harbour transformed an extra room in his currently laundry location,
installing state-of-the-art high-intensity machines. There’s even an outside
hose and fence rail, which serve as a place for horse people to knock the dirt
off
"I welcome horse people," Harbour told the Southern Pines newspaper. "They
can park and come straight in without having to sneak in anymore. We could care
less how much horse or dog hair there is on items. My equipment will suck the
hair right off."
An 80 lb load costs $4.25, so the Equine Backdoor Laundry is also
affordable.
