Products, presented a new award at the 2007 Platform® American Miniature Horse
Registry National Championships held in Tulsa,
Oklahoma, in
September.
The inaugural
Vetrolin®
Grooming Award was presented a month prior at the
Platform® Shetland Pony Congress.
“The award was so well received at
the Shetland Pony Congress that we decided to make it ongoing tradition with
these small equines,” said Renee Mariniello, territory manager for Farnam’s
Platform® Feed.
Mariniello
had the tough job of selecting the winner of the Vetrolin® Grooming Award from
over 1,600 horses at the show.
After much deliberation, she
selected Double K’s She’s a Diva of Establo as the 2007 winner of the Vetrolin®
Grooming Award.
The stunning black filly is owned by
Janice Aldrich ofThompson,
Georgia.
“With such a gorgeous showring shine
she just stood out from the other horses and I knew she had to be our Vetrolin®
Grooming Award winner,” Mariniello said of Double K’s She’s a Diva
Establo.
Farnam has
been a strong supporter of the American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR) since
they launched their Platform® Miniature Horse and Pony Feed in 2006.
In 2007, Platform® became the title
sponsor for the Shetland Pony Congress and the American Miniature Horse Registry
National Championships. “The partnership between Farnam Horse Products and the
AMHR provides an improved opportunity to meet the needs of miniature horse and

“We are pleased that Farnam decided
to extend The Vetrolin® Grooming Award to our Miniature Horses after it was so
well received at the Platform® Shetland Pony Congress.”
