Popular clinician and horse trainer Clinton Anderson is
opening the doors to his new Downunder Horsemanship facility and marking 10
years of business. Located in the heart of cowboy country, the new office
complex sits on the edge of Stephenville, Texas on Highway 377 North. The public
is invited to attend the facility’s Grand Opening and 10th Year Anniversary
Celebration Tuesday, September 30th. The festivities which include
refreshments, tours, a ribbon cutting and live music entertainment start at 5
p.m. and run until 8 p.m. All guests will get to meet Anderson and learn about the training techniques
that have garnered him repeated wins at The Road to the Horse Colt Starting
Challenge.
A native Australian, Anderson first moved to the United
States and opened his Downunder Horsemanship
business in 1998. For a decade, he’s been helping riders achieve the level of
success they desire with their horses. Besides traveling the country on
tour and conducting horsemanship clinics, he also hosts two popular horse
training television shows on the RFD-TV network (available on Dish and DirecTV
to over 40 million homes). His Downunder Horsemanship weekly series is the
station’s most popular equine
program.
Previously located in Belle Center, Ohio, the native Australian decided to make
the move to Stephenville to better serve the growing demands of his business and
fulfill his personal interest in the reining and cutting horse
worlds.
“As I traveled all over the United States sharing my
horsemanship knowledge, Texas always felt like home and in particular the
Stephenville area,” Anderson says about selecting his new location. “It feels
good to be surrounded by other horse people with the same drive, desire and work
ethic as myself. I’ve only been here a short time, but I already feel at
home.”
