USRider, a roadside-assistance plan for equestrians, has developed a handy new tool for travelers: a mobile version of its website (www.usrider.mobi), created especially for mobile devices with Internet access. The website is available to both members and nonmembers for free. The site features equine-travel information, such as safety bulletins, trailer-safety tips, first-aid-kit recommendations, and a pre-trip checklist. The website also has mapping features to help you find the most direct route to your destination, as well as the best fuel prices.
