San Diego Police Horses for Sale
image fpo
Budget cuts to the San Diego Police have forced the sale of force’s mounted police horses at auction. Bids for the horses started as low as $500 but quickly shot up. The lowest bid as of yesterday evening was $3,700 for 13-year-old WAM, but most expected the bids would go much higher, according to Signon San Diego, an online news source.

The police horses range in age from 5 to 15. The auction is being held at www.publicsurplus.com through Thursday.
