Salaries, Benefits, Housing&. Horse Industry Study Tops 250 Participants
The Equimax Horse Industry Compensation Study now has data for over 250 actual jobs and the number is climbing every day.  Information on salaries, benefits, housing, vacation, commissions, bonuses, and more is available for horse industry jobs right now free of charge (for a limited time.)  To participate, start at: www.equimax.com/study and get free access to the results by entering data on one or more jobs. 

For those who do not have data to enter or don't wish to participate, study results will soon be available for purchase from www.equimax.com at the early bird price of $15.00.  Custom reports will also be available for people who want data for a particular breed, discipline, location, or other special combination of parameters. 

28 different job types are covered in the study including Stable Help, Groom, Breeding Farm Assistant, Barn Manager, Riding Instructor, Trainer(show), Trainer(race), Breeding Manager, Trail Guide/Wrangler, Exercise Rider, Farm Manager, Maintenance Person, Administrative Assistant and more.  Study results already include data on rates of pay, bonuses, commissions, overtime, housing, insurance benefits, retirement plans, length of work week, stabling for employee horses, and more.  You can see the participants' type of operation, breeds, disciplines, number of employees, and number of horses .  All information about the identity of those who participate in the study is being kept strictly confidential.  

Any horse industry employees and farm and stable owners with compensation data to provide are eligible to participate in the study.  Participation takes about 10-30 minutes depending on the number of job types entered. For a limited time, anyone who provides compensation data on at least one job will be given free access to the results.  This free access will not expire.  Participants may return to view results as many times as they like and see developing trends as more data is received.  Participants may also return to the study at any time to enter data on additional job types.
