Riding While Intoxicated
It was all in good fun, but the policeman who arrested the two men didn’t think so.

Two Georgia men were arrested for DUI as they careened around their neighborhood on horseback one recent Sunday afternoon, reported the Dalton, Ga. Daily Citizen.

The two had been at a NASCAR race and had had a “few beers earlier in the day,” according to the newspaper. Neighbors complained they were making the horses rear and hanging off them. Both men tested twice the legal blood alcohol limit for driving.

The arresting officer told the newspaper the men were endangering themselves, their neighbors, passing motorists and the horses, and that’s why they were arrested.
