Horse & Hound, the British magazine of equestrian sports, reports that a
driver in Poland was pulled over for carrying a foal in his Fiat Uno (smaller
than a Ford Focus coupe).
Hieronim Kapuscinski was transporting the foal 150 miles from a livestock
market back his farm.
The police pulled Kapuscinski over and confiscated the foal until he could
find a trailer. He was fined about $75.
