More than 85 riders from the American Paint Horse Association gathered for
the 15th Annual APHA Flagship Fort Robinson Trail Ride.
The riders came together from California, Texas, Colorado, Mississippi as
well as Nebraska, where the event was held. The longest of APHA’s 2009 trail
rides, the week-long Fort Robinson State Park adventure passes breathtaking
views and outstanding tall-grass prairies, rock formations and Ponderosa pine
forests of the 22,000-acre park. The average group rode 8 to 12 miles per
day during the ride.
The trail ride offers great food and accommodations for the horses, as well
as a weeklong list of events, activities and different trail rides.
