Lynn Palm Announces Essay Contest Winners and Highlights for Women LUV Horses
Lynn Palm and Palm Partnership Training is pleased to announce the winners of the "Why I Love Horses and My Favorite Publication" essay contest. Palm Partnership Training received forty-six entries from women and girls of all ages. The winners will receive two free weekend passes to the 2008 Women LUV Horses event December 5-7 in City of Industry, California including VIP tickets to the event's Fashion Show and Cowgirl Party.

    Palm Partnership Training and EquiMedic USA are sponsoring an upcoming Photo Essay contest in conjunction with the Women LUV Horses Equestrienne Retreat in December. The contest has two age divisions and is open to girls and women of all ages. Contestants may submit original work with one of the following themes:

  • Little Girls and Horses
  • Women and Their Love of Horses
  • The Healing Power of Horses
  • The Great American Mustang
  • The overall Grand Prize Winner in each category will win a free Palm Partnership Training 6-day Clinic enrollment in 2009 valued at $1595. EquiMedic USA is sponsoring nearly $2,000 in prizes for the Photo-Essay contest, which includes prizes for every submission, category winners and the overall top 5 winners. Category winners of each age group will be on display at the Women LUV Horses Event in California and the overall 1st place winner of each age group will have her work published on the Women LUV Horses website.  For more information, contact Ericka Utz at: erickautz@yahoo.com 

    You won't want to miss the Women LUV Horses retreat at the Industry Hills Expo Center December 5-7. Not only will it highlight workshops and clinics by top equestrienne icons in the industry, it will host competitive events, shopping and fantastic evening events. The Fashion for Fillies Show on Friday evening will showcase the newest fashions in equestrienne apparel from Wrangler, Kerrits, Hobby Horse, Horseware, Dover Saddlery and much more. The fashion show attendees will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beverages and have the opportunity to win fabulous sponsored door prizes. The Saturday evening Cowgirl Party and Charity Event will honor the love women have for horses. The event kicks off at 7:00 pm with featured speakers, dinner, silent auction, and entertainment and performances by America's Supreme HorseWoman competitors. The silent auction will benefit organizations including: AQHA America's Horse Cares, AQHA Professional Horseman's Crisis Fund, APHA Foundation for Children, and Tough Enough to Wear Pink sponsored by Wrangler, benefiting Susan G Komen for the Cure.

    The Women LUV Horses Retreat Weekend is geared towards women, young ladies and little girls who are passionate about horses.
