Horse Expo Will Highlight NARHA National Conference
On Saturday, November 1 The  exceptional NARHA Horse Expo will be offered at the University of Connecticut, highlighting the 2008 NARHA National Conference and Annual Meeting. Organized for professionals and people interested in equine assisted activities and therapies for people with special needs, the expo will offer hands-on learning opportunities in an out of the classroom and into the arena setting.

From sessions on “Connecting Horse and Human Posture” to “Keeping Your Therapy Horses Happy,” and a session on “Horse Environmental Awareness Program and Go Green Initiatives” learning opportunities will abound. The events of the day will be punctuated with University ofConnecticut student demonstrations of jumping, polo, dressage and drill team in the 220 foot by 120 foot indoor area, which is used in the UConn equestrian program for instruction, training and competition.

The NARHA Horse Expo, a favorite among people who attend the NARHA Conference, is included in the conference registration. Transportation to and from the conference hotel,breakfast on the go, and lunch at the university are included.
