California Woman Confronts Bees on Trail Ride
image fpo

The California woman was riding her horse and ponying a yearling when she was attacked by Africanized honey bees on a Palos Verdes trail, according to the Associated Press.

She leaped off her horse and let go of the youngster. All three are reportedly sore and stung, but fine. Africanized bees, also called killer bees, have grown in numbers in the past decade, especially in Southern California.
