As the world becomes more crowded, saving our precious riding lands is becoming a top priority for horse people all over the country. The Equestrian Land Conservation Resource is a not-for-profit organization that educates and provides tools for horse people wishing to help preserve the land. The ELCR recently announced that it has joined the 1 Percent for the Planet—a conglomeration of companies committed to donating 1 percent of their sales to environmental causes. As a registered recipient, ELCR is now eligible to receive funds from the 1 Percent.
