4th Annual Trail Rider Conference Expands at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo
March 14-16, 2008 - Denver, Colorado
Whether your saddled-up style finds you moseying beside a wild stream, racing to the endurance clock, or challenging the switchbacks, the 4thAnnual Rocky Mountain Trail Riders Conference will be the place of choice to pick up the latest advice, tips, equipment, and trail information. This year the event features more speakers and includes tie-ins to arena demonstrations. Highlights include:

• Bonnie Davis: Low-Impact Horsecamping & Trail Riding
• Jim & Janine Wilder: Trail Riding Adventures
• Debbie Bibb: The Trail Horse of a Lifetime
• Julie Chaney: Back Country Matters
• Gary Thorson & Lori Malcolm: CO State Parks
• Littleton Large Animal Clinic: Equine First Aid
• Bruce Rhyne, Budge’s Flattops Wilderness Lodge: Packing Skills

Before, between, and after the sessions, network with other trail enthusiasts and visit with the experts. Trade show vendors are stocking up for the needs of trail riders, too, so plan on replacing that frayed and cracked tack in time for spring escapes to the back country. Scope out the best breeds for the mountains at the Breed Demonstrations, and shop for a new trail mount at the Private Treaty Sale Horse Showcases. It’s a complete package for every trail rider.

And make sure your weekend at the Horse Expo includes some time on the “ranch,” too—that would be the Denver Championship Ranch Rodeo, Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m. When top hands from America’s legendary ranches compete at their best cowboy work, it’s the wildest reality show in the West.

Tickets, information, private treaty horse sale stalls, booth contracts and more at www.RockyMountainHorseExpo.com or (303) 292-4981. The 4th Annual Rocky Mountain Trail Riders Conference offers more this year than ever before, for trail riders of every kind.
