Stonewall saddles is adopting the Lane Card System to measure horses backs accurately and repeatably ( refer to www.dennislane.com.au ) . The horse owner/rider can easily use the system to provide us, the saddlemaker, with accurate information to produce a better fitting saddle.
In addition, we will be sending measurement data back to Dennis Lane to add to the database for future refinements of the cards. It's high time there was some standardization in the tree making and saddle making business and we encourage all tree and saddle makers to consider this system.
