True West is centrally located to access the trails of Big South Fork in several directions. We gladly give you detailed information about where you might like to ride, the condition of the trails, and may even ride with you if you like. The Park has many distant trailheads that are only accessible for day use as well. We can provide trailering to these areas also if you like.
There are 34 level, easy access RV sites - all with water and separate 30-amp service - some with sewer hookups as well. Several areas are great for tent camping as well.
The large barns keep your horses safe and happy with 67 bedded 10x10 stalls, extra wide aisles, and saddle racks/bridle hooks at each stall. There are two wash racks as well.
Two new bath houses for men and women have heat and A/C. There are stocked fishing ponds on the property so don't forget your pole!
The Mercantile is full of tack, saddles, gifts, leather chaps, old west clothing, hats, gloves, all sorts of trail gear and supplies. We also sell snacks, ice, firewood and maps. If available, we also sell hay and feed.
The Marshal's Suite is a 900 square foot accommodation in the main building over the Mercantile. It sleeps 6, has a private full bath and private entry. There is a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker included.
Cabin rental is available also. The cabin has 3 bedrooms/2 baths and sleeps six. It is fully stocked with bed linens, dishes, pots and pans, microwave, full kitchen, and Satellite TV. There is a four-stall barn behind the cabin.
We have great entertainment, bluegrass music, and other special events throughout the year. We can arrange a special event for your group including catered meals, entertainment, etc. Just let us know what you'd like.
