Record-holding rodeo champion Jim Shoulders was a hero in the eyes
of the entire western industry. He was also a fixture in the heart of the
Wrangler brand, which is why Wrangler is proud to offer an exclusive line of
men’s shirts paying tribute to Shoulders and his charitable cause, the Justin
Cowboy Crisis Fund (JCCF).
Available in western specialty stores in 2008, the line of
Wrangler Gold Edition shirts will feature a commemorative hang-tag honoring the
inspirational cowboy. Original artwork from the National Cowboy and Western
Heritage Museum makes for a collector-level hang tag, and a portion of proceeds
from shirt sales go directly to the JCCF.
Intimately familiar with the hardships of dealing with
rodeo-related injuries, Shoulders inspired the creation of the JCCF to
financially assist injured athletes. The Wrangler brand is honored to pay
tribute to his legacy by contributing to the Foundation in his name.
Wrangler salutes Jim Shoulders: The brand’s longest-running
supporter and endorsee, an original fit model, inspiration for the 13MWZ Cowboy
Cut jeans, an icon in Wrangler ads in the 1950s and 1960s, and a man who was
true to his word.
