Blog Description: Emily Esterson neighed in her sleep when she was two years old, her mother reports. In college and through her twenties she worked as a groom at eventing and dressage facilities, and got her first horse at age 30. Her first professional writing job was for the newsletter, The Trail Less Traveled. She's evented through preliminary and shown second level dressage, with hopes to move up to FEI levels sometime in the next two decades. She owns a ragtag band of three horses, two goats, two dogs and three cats, a husband and a few acres in central New Mexico.
