Hay Storage and Feeder
image fpo
Eliminate storage difficulties and make feeding easier when using large, square bales of hay — that is, bales measuring eight feet long and between three and four feet high and across. Constructed from heavy-duty, 20-gauge sheet metal with a tubular frame, the Big Bale Box from Triple D Paints protects hay from the elements, while a manual ratchet-and-strap system allows you to easily maneuver the bale to an end door where you measure off desired amounts for feeding. Large side doors open for easy bale loading with a grapple; a rear drop-down door allows an additional loading option using the ratchet-and-strap system. A recycled plastic floor lining helps the bale slide smoothly across the box. The feeder shown is available but not included.

Cost: $2,200.
Contact: Triple D Paints, (308) 946-5624; www.thebigbalebox.com.
